The Hope Award
Rimrose Hope’s unique award scheme celebrates our school's Christian values and through them, the British Values of freedom, tolerance, respect, democracy and the rule of law. The scheme is called the ‘Hope Award’ and every child is invited to get involved from Foundation Stage to Year 6.
The Hope Award is at the heart of everything we do in school. The award has its own distinctive neckers, woggles and badges which show off the Christian values we hold dear in a very visible way.
Our scheme encourages the children to think deeply about what it means to serve others, or to endure when things are getting tough. It is a scheme that promotes friendship, creativity and justice in ways that the children and their families can relate to in their everyday lives.
The Hope Award reinforces our behaviour management work and is the glue behind our 5 rules:
Take Care of Ourselves: The British and Christian values of responsibility, creativity, perseverance and endurance.
Take Care of Each Other: The British and Christian values of friendship, service, citizenship and community responsibility.
Take Care of Our Learning: The British and Christian values of wisdom, self improvement, aspiration.
Take Care of Our School, Community and Our World: The British and Christian values of service, democracy, justice, citizenship and community responsibility.
Take Care of Our Future: The British and Christian values of hope, service, citizenship and community responsibility.
