Our Super Scientists represent their class and share and discuss all their Science Work.

Here we will be uploading photographs of any ambassador duties the children carry out as well as their personal opinions about Science as a subject and the projects we get up to at Rimrose.

Our Super Scientists are busy updating our Seesaw Page with all their classes great work. In our meetings, we will share and discuss all of this great work.

Preparing for Science Week!

Our Science Ambassadors met and discussed our Science Week. They learnt all about what each year group would be doing and introduced it to their class. During our meeting the Super Scientists decided they wanted to run another Super Science Quiz. They worked in their year groups to create a quiz.

To end our Great Science Week, the children ran their quiz. Some even choosing to be the quiz master !

Super Scientists' Quiz

Our Super Scientists met and looked through their learning in their books. Working together they wrote questions for a Super Science Quiz. They delivered to their Super Science Quiz to KS1, LKS2 and UKS2. All of the children had lots of fun and were able to show off all of their learning in Science.

Our Work with Emmaus

We are working with Emmaus to help to look after our local area.  We have completed lots of great activities supporting our Service and Creation Awards. We have: planted seeds, made wild flower bombs, grew sunflowers and designed post toppers. This work has helped us to understand: the importance of looking after the environment; how plants and seeds grow and how to care of our local area. We are looking forward to seeing Seaforth Green bloom with flowers and to continuing our work.

Our Work with Crosby High and Mersey Forest

We worked with Crosby High and Mersey Forest to plant some trees.  We learnt the importance of trees and how we look after them.  We visited Crosby High and helped them to plant trees on their site.  Crosby High then visited us to help us improve our school grounds.

Our Marie Curie Day

To celebrate Marie Curie’s Birthday, our School Council set the school a competition. The competition involved the children researching and learning all about Marie Curie and her work, they then had to present their research to share with their classmates.  It was a hard decision to pick our winners, with so many great entries.  The children’ s great work is displayed in our school hall, so that everyone can learn about Marie Curie.  On this day, we also raised money for the Marie Curie charity which is named after the scientist.
