What is Pupil Premium?

 

Pupil Premium funding is additional funding allocated to all schools to support disadvantaged pupils. Rimrose Hope receives pupil premium for: children that are cared for or adopted from care; children whose parents are in the armed forces; and for every pupil who has received free school meals over the past 6 years.

Is my child eligible for free school meals? 

 

As a Sefton resident, you are eligible for free school meals if you receive any of the following benefits:

  • Income support
  • Income related employment and support allowance
  • Income based job seekers allowance
  • Support under part six of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
  • Child tax credit only with an income of less than £16,190
  • Pension credit – Guarantee credit.
