Understanding the World

  • Octonauts Use the site above to learn more about our oceans by watching episodes of Octonauts. Each episode introduces the children to the incredible diversity of life that live in our oceans
  • Maddie's Do You Know? A brilliant series (you can watch a lot of episodes on the iplayer) teaching the children about scientific concepts and phenomena.
  • Where in the World? A tremendous series available on the BBC iplayer. This gives the children a window into the lives and cultures of their peers all around the planet. Understanding different cultures and beliefs is an important part of the childrens' development.
  • Go Jetters! Find out about places and countries all around the world with this animated series on BBC iplayer.
