This area of learning covers the children's social and emotional well being. We teach the children how to develop self-belief, form relationships, understand their emotions and also how to show focus and self-regulation skills.

Making Relationships= Sharing experiences
I really like the ethos of this programme. We learn new skills from other people by building relationships with them. At the moment, the children can't mix with their friends or extended family which is so tough. However, this programme helps them remember how important these bonds are and how being close to other people helps us learn new skills and improves us as people.

Treasure Champs
A terrific animated series on the BBC iplayer that teaches the children about moral values. This has lovely links to our Rimrose Hope Award.

Say no to single use plastic!
Getting the children to think and behave in a responsible way towards the planet that we call home is essential. This video looks at the problems posed by single use plastics and how we can use reusable items instead. It complements the learning that we did during 'DT Week' when we thought about how we can protect the world in which we live.
Sesame Street: NSync: Believe in Yourself
Woo! What a blast from the past! Justin Timberlake with his chums from NSync teach the children a song about having self-belief and not giving up.
